My Story

Hello! I’m Zoe, a qualified Level 3 Mat-based Pilates instructor.

I first discovered Pilates in 2016 when I was going through treatment for tight TMJs (Temporomandibular Joint), which are the muscles between your ear and jaw. My consultant and Physio suggested trying Pilates to see if controlled mindful movements and strengthening of the spine, neck and back would help my body relax and place me into a better postural position for everyday life.

After only a few weeks I could feel the benefits of Pilates, I suddenly felt taller, more confident and allowed myself to relax which in turn, relaxed my TMJ muscles.

I adopted the foundations I had learnt and continued practicing Pilates over the following few years, as a keen runner I also find it to be extremely beneficial to support my strength, form and recovery.

Pilates is a huge hit in my family and having seen the benefits for not only myself, I was inspired to try something new so I signed up to train as a Pilates Instructor!

I qualified in January 2026 and I am so excited to continue my learning, allowing me to offer a range of different classes.

I believe in taking time out for ourselves and living in the moment, safe, supported, joyful and free of judgement. I incorporate all of these values into my teaching, ensuring I can focus on my clients needs allowing them to feel better in their bodies and their surroundings.
